This privacy policy also constitutes the terms of use for this web site as well as any other apps and services offered by Canadian Seagull Studios unless other terms are expressly indicated for those apps or services.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

On our site, users cannot create accounts and we do not collect personal information on this site and we do not set cookies.

In our apps and games released on the Apple App Store, Google Play Store or via the Web we may collect some data but in ways that do not link back to you as a user, including:

• Identifiers such as device or user identifiers
• Usage data such as product interaction and advertising data
• Diagnostics such as crash logs or performance data which may include IP address, device identifiers, operating system versions, the configuration/state of the app or service at the time of a crash or other failure in the app or service, and the time and date of such an event as well as other statistics needed to analyse the incident and support the operation of the app or service

This data is either used to display personalised ads within the app via third-party ad networks or is used for app functionality such as logging in to the app or supporting multi-player game modes. Where such data is used we will make this known as required by the relevant app store in the app listings.

IF Remote

IF Remote is an app currently available in the iOS App Store. This is a free app with paid subscription options for additional features. There is no obligation or requirement to pay to use the app. Regardless of whether you use the app with or without a paid subscription, we may collect certain personally identifiable information including your e-mail address and IP address for the purpose of offering the service. All users will be required to log into the app with either their Apple account or Google account and in this process we will receive and retain the email address provided to us by Apple or Google during the login process.

Additionally, the app does rely on third-party services that may collect information used to identify you:

• Google Firebase for authentication, storing flight data while using the app, push notifications and capturing crash and log data to support the operation of the app. As a result Google is a data processor under the GDPR. Specifically we use the following Firebase services in IF Remote covered under the linked terms of us:

  • Firebase Crashlytics
  • Firebase Cloud Messaging
• Mapbox to provide the map feature inthe app
• RevenueCat to support the in-app purchase of subscriptions

InfiniteTrack

InfiniteTrack is available in the Android Play Store. This is a free app with advertising and an option to subscribe to remove ads. There is no obligation or requirement to pay to use the app. Regardless of whether you use the app with or without a paid subscription, we may collect certain personally identifiable information including your e-mail address and IP address for the purpose of offering the service. Users can also optionally log into the app with either their Apple account or Google account and in this process we will receive and retain the email address provided to us by Apple or Google during the login process.

Additionally, the app does rely on third-party services that may collect information used to identify you:

Serverwat.ch

Serverwat.ch is both available via the Web and as an app currently available in the iOS App Store and Google Play Store. Serverwat.ch is free via the Web while the iOS and Android apps are available for a small one-time purchase in the respective apps stores. This app does not collect any user identifiable information. Also no cookies are set or sent to us. Any data you provide to use the app — most significantly Hetzner API tokens — are never sent to us and are only retained in persistent storage in your browser or the app itself depending which version you use.

Children’s Privacy

Our apps and services do not explicitly address anyone under the age of 13. At the same time, we do not prohibit the use of our apps and services by children under this age. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13 except that required to support the operation of the app or services as described in this policy. If you are a parent or a guardian of a child that has directly or indirectly provided us with personal information and wish us to delete it, please contact us using the form below.
